Today I had Liz as my waitress and she's the best! I'm going to recommend that if you like fried green tomatoes, this is the place to be! So delicious!
When I first drove by I thought they were closed because I saw no cars in the parking lot. When I turned around I realized that they are open until 9pm and it was such a nice and cozy place to eat. My first meal was the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and a salad. Pecan pie for dessert. What can I say? It was such a good stop, and close to where I was going. Planning another trip there sometime next week.
I stopped by for lunch when I was visiting a bunch of Stranger Things filming locations in the area. The restaurant looks exactly like it does in the show, it's a must for any fan of the show. The staff were great and the Grilled Chicken was very good.
I had been out of the country for awhile and really wanted some country cooking for my birthday. This place was perfect! Everything we had was good. Folks usually come here for breakfast, but I recommend trying it for dinner, too.
OMG! This might be one of our favorite finds on our trip. We totally stopped because of Stranger Things, but the breakfast was amazing! Portions were big, prices more than reasonable and the staff was super friendly! They even got me to try grits, that's a first. Please do yourself a favor, go! Run dont walk.
The food is really fresh and delicious. My dad and daughter went there the day before I did and had to take me back the next day because they liked it so much! My dad said it was the best-tasting hamburger he had ever eaten! I got the chicken salad sandwich and it was delicious! If you’re in the mood for “southern home cooking”, this is not going to disappoint!
If you are looking for quick local breakfast take out or dine in, look no further. Waffles, bacon and scrambled eggs with cheese was amazing. It was ready in under 20 minutes, and it’s not far from the house. Will definitely be back!
